Wire tailed swallow (Hirundo smithii)

The Asian Wire Tailed swallow (Hirundo smithii smithii) is one of the two subspecies of Wire Tailed Swallow, the other more common one being prevalent in Africa. Their name comes from the very long, fine, tail feathers that give a wire like appearance. This tiny one is a juvenile and you can say so as it lacks the wire like tails of its adult counterpart, and also has a rather dull brown crown compared to a chestnut brown youd find in adults.
